Glad to Be Working

Well, it has been quite a while since I last posted, mostly because of focusing on preparing to start a new job.  Today was day #6 working as a Consumer Solution Representative for EMBARQ.  I am going through 8 weeks of training before my new co-workers and I will be taking calls from customers.  I must say that of all the large corporations I could be working for at this time, I’m glad it is EMBARQ.  They really do a lot to provide a stimulating, enjoyable and productive work atmosphere.   And, regardless, of where I would be working, it’s great to finally be earning a paycheck again, knowing that in just a couple of months, my family and I should be able to get our own place.  Also, my wife is in her 2nd week on her new job, and is really enjoying it.

I’m so very thankful to God for how He has blessed us in recent weeks with new jobs, supportive family, and an absolutely awesome church, Eastpoint Fellowship.
